I recently had major surgery to remove a large benign tumor on my abdomen. I was prescribed Keflex for ten days after surgery to control infection as the incision was quite large, stretching from hipbone to hipbone. My doctor did not know that Keflex always gave me an intense yeast infection within two days of my taking it. I didn't realize until I had left the hospital that the prescription was for Keflex as it was prescribed under another commercial name.
